2026 Financial vision

The 2026 proposed budget reflects both faithful stewardship and bold vision. Payroll remains below the national average for church budgets, allowing more resources to go directly toward ministry and mission. While ministry budgets experienced a modest 3% reduction across the board, operations required a 10% increase to account for rising economic costs and inflation. Our commitment to missions continues to grow, increasing from 12.3% to 12.5% of the total budget. Most notably, we’ve prayerfully included a new stretch goal—the Plus One Fund—our largest financial “Plus One” initiative ever, designed to expand Crosspoint’s influence and reach beyond our walls in 2026. Every dollar in this budget is an expression of our calling to reach for Jesus Plus One in our local communities.

CROSSPOINT ELDER BOARD

Curtis Zehner

Curtis has served as Crosspoint’s Lead Minister since March 2024, after spending six years as the Associate Minister—but his roots here go much deeper. Having grown up in this church, Curtis now carries the mantle of leadership once held by his father, who served as Senior Minister for two decades. He loves Crosspoint’s willingness to try new things in order to accomplish God’s mission and the way our church family consistently “buys in” to that mission together. His favorite verse is John 14:6, where Jesus declares, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” Fun fact: Curtis played college basketball at two different universities before following his call to ministry.

Jeff Gadell

Jeff has been part of Crosspoint since 2012, serving faithfully for more than 13 years. He loves the way our church family demonstrates a true servant’s heart—always ready to step up and meet needs both in the church and throughout the community. Jeff says one of the most powerful things he’s witnessed this year is the outpouring of love poured into our children and youth by dedicated volunteer leaders. A verse that guides his life is James 2:26 — “Faith without works is dead.” Fun fact: Jeff and his wife, Rechelle, met while stationed in Germany, and both are proud Army veterans.

Angelo Bravo

Angelo has been part of Crosspoint for 13 years, faithfully serving and helping to build unity within our church family. He loves that Crosspoint is open, loving, and welcoming to all, and that everything we do stays laser-focused on God’s Word—from preaching to study. This year, Angelo has been especially encouraged by the growing unity between our English and Spanish congregations and how God continues to meet our spiritual needs through that connection. His guiding verse is Matthew 28:19 (NIV): “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” For Angelo, this “Great Commission” is both a call and a way of life.

Dennis Martin

Dennis has been part of Crosspoint since 2005, faithfully serving our church family for nearly two decades. What Dennis loves most about Crosspoint is its spirit of generosity—a church family always ready to give, help, and serve. This year, he’s been especially encouraged by the work of our Missions Team and how they embody Christ’s call to reach the world with love and compassion. A verse that inspires Dennis is 2 Timothy 3:16–17, which reminds us that all Scripture is God-breathed and equips us for every good work. Fun fact: Dennis once climbed a Mayan pyramid in Belize—proof that his sense of adventure matches his heart for God’s mission!

Barry Glasser

Barry has been a member of Crosspoint since 2014, and he deeply values the strong sense of family that defines our church community. His guiding Scripture is Matthew 5:17–18, where Jesus reminds us that He came not to abolish the Law or the Prophets, but to fulfill them—truth that anchors Barry’s faith and service. Fun fact: Barry once sailed a 40-foot catamaran from Guadeloupe to St. Maarten, an adventure that reflects both his steady leadership and love for life’s journey.

Dennis Fifield - Seeking approval for 2026

Dennis has been a member of Crosspoint since 2005, faithfully serving and supporting the mission of the church for two decades. What Dennis loves most about Crosspoint is that the Word of God is boldly preached, and he deeply values both the diversity of our congregation and our shared willingness to serve. One moment that stands out to him this year was the incredible response to the Fill the Pantry initiative, a tangible reminder of God’s hand at work through His people. His favorite verse is Philippians 4:13 — “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Fun fact: Dennis admits he can’t blow a bubble with bubble gum—though he’s given it his best shot!
